So today has been a trip to Bristol with BMW for masters business forum,

Location changes every year and always somewhere of interest.
This year was at the Bloodhound ssc facility, wasn't sure what to expect the but wow, the engineering involved and the passion for the project, it's not just about getting to 1000mph but inspiring people.

If you ever get chance to go there I'd recommend it.

These sorts of projects are incredible for that; the team have done a really good job as well at engaging schools with IIRC - it means there's hope for the next generation of engineers, mechanics etc.

Big projects often spur on smaller companies in the future, as well as the transfer from there to other applications.

Yeah they do a lot of schools etc which gets them engaged, Martin who is the team manager said they have a list of objectives, the last one is the actual land speed record.

The engineering that has gone into it is brilliant, from top end, to basic make it work to this part has been donated we need to make it fit and work.
The fuel pump is driven by a super charged jaguar v8 engine!

The jet engine is borrowed from the Mod lol.

Would be a shame if it all falls through
