Hi anybody know where to get repair panels and wings, sills front panels for 1989 2.4 turbo diesel land cruiser, it’s my first Toyota and it’s got more worm than metal

Check if they are still available from Toyota, you may be surprised.

Just needs a patch or two , got 199,000 miles on the clock starts and runs , stopping is ok if you got a brick garage in front when you need to stop , lucky for me someone built one where I needed it, but really excited to have this in the shed,

Hi BM and Welcome. @Bund has recently had his short wheelbase restored with fairly similar rust issues, maybe he knows where to get panels.

Great to see some photos of the ol’ gal.:thumbup: Be good seeing this one take shape. I love the round headlight 70s.

Thank you , we have now got the rear and front wheel arch repair panels ,we can’t find the front panel, not sure if it’s available,it’s the round head light
VX LJ70 , we would like the panel with the headlight washer fixing points ,not sure if it’s avalibl, might have to rethink the amaount of patches we need
 
Think think we managed to weld them two patches on,
now looking for a 10in roller and a pot of dulex

That’s looking good BM.

Have you thought about a 1kz-t engine swap instead of rebuilding the 2.4 which is known to be a bit, how shall I say, sluggish?
