Cannich camping weekend

weather finally settled enough to tempt us out camping.
Headed west to Cannich (about 45mins west of Inverness)

Found a nice spot to camp on an island by a river, no rain forecast ! So being flooded wasn't an issue.
Small ford to drive through to get to the island.
Spent the weekend Walking in the area and chilling out and BBQ
Not that cold, but woodburner was welcome in the tent

I like to know about your solar panel, what make and wattage is it and what your thoughts on it.

Great picks thanks! Looks like a cracking weekend Is that a slow worm? It doesnt look like an adders head or markings, but I guess it could be a small one. I have never seen a slow worm, plenty of vipers and Grass snakes of all sorts around here The owner of a pool we look after said there was a viper in one of skimmers.... it was a Collared grass snake everything is a viper to the locals!

Nice photos (and dog) ! Not quite the same neck of the woods, but my wife’s just phoned me from the top on Bealach na Ba, she’s on her way to Applecross and a bit nervous about the road down.

Yes it was a grass snake, no not one to run Away from

Solar panel is semi flexible and 100w
Will look up place I got it from

Got it from eBay

Sunpower one
I fitted 8 small suckers to it, to allow me to stick it to roof or side of car.
But don't forget to remove it before driving off, I did a few weeks ago and had to solder the cables back onto it...

I got one without solR regulator , my Ctek has one

It seems to work well and battery was still at 12.5v at end of weekend, with no engine running for 42 hours
And a 50 and 20 litre waeco fridges running
