Has anyone else watched the TV series Car vs Wild on Discovery?

I don't know what you think but in my humble opinion, this show does not promote responsible off road driving. I almost feel embarrassed watching it!

Nothing is strapped down in the back.
No care it taken for the vehicle (obviously not theirs) and the surrounding environment.

What is everyone's thoughts?

Don't take it too seriously. It's a TV program made for it's entertainment value:sleeping-sleep:, I don't think it's meant to be educational. JMO

I have to agree, I only watched the one where they tried to drive up the river.

Its a bit disgusting really.

I didn't, but some stupid wa**ers will think it's gospel.

Real offroad means driving slowly and cautiously, checking on foot before to put your wheels into unknown and tricky places, and reducing to the max any risk of breaking something.

Nothing really exciting to watch, that wouldn't entertain crowds...

One of the first things I was told when I joined my 4x4 club, Burnham Off Roaders, was "As slow as possible and as fast as necessary" :icon-cool:
