Caranex... or similar?

Okay, I'm looking to use my 80 series Landcruiser for trips around Europe, and want to be able to camp with the family - i.e. me and the missus, plus 2 x under 5s. Roof tent is out for obvious reasons (toddlers taking a six foot header whilst looking for the porta-potty) so thinking Caranex or similar. Any recommendations? Obviously I'm not talking about an extended trip around Africa - more a sensible option for overlanding in Europe with little 'uns. Any thoughts welcome!

I had a Caranex years ago for my 80 and they are not really very big and it was pretty fiddly to set up as well, more fiddly than an Oz tent but it packed down much smaller of course.

I've owned 2 Oz tents (RV4 & RV5), never got round to using either of them for real but I did put the last one up in the garden and they seem ok if you are stuck with being on the ground and with the awning out and extra sides on you can still back the 80 in for access a bit like the caranex if the pitch is big enough.
