Carrying a welder on a day out?

Hi Reno,
There are also some battery powered mig welders out there like the ReadyWelder
that uses 2-3 batteries and they reckon it can weld things like thin aluminium
better than a standard mains one.
THere was some threads about it on the 80s list a couple of years ago.
