CDL controller??

Hi All,
Rapidly approaching mud season, so am forced to repair both CDL actuators on mamas 1HZ permanent 4wd and my 1HDT standard.
I bought a used unit off mud to do repairs and got the 1HDT working fine.
After installing the repaired unit on the 1HZ I can't get it to respond to the CDL dash switch or when changing to low range. It responded just once by running to the full open position the first time I plugged in and switched on ignition. Since then nothing.
Question, is there some relay/control box which sends voltage to the actuator that I can check?

Passenger side (uk) footwell. Remove side panel and a 4wd control box is held in on 2 10mm studs. Just replaced mine.
