Just wondering if anyone's fitted a switch so you can turn off the centre diff lock in low box?

cheers

Most people on here with an 80 series I should imagine. You first need to disable the auto diff locking in low range by unplugging the CDL switch on the top of the Xfer box. Around the 1 O'clock position looking forward from the rear of the box if I remember correctly. The dash mounted switch is then fitted to turn the CDL on/off as required in L or H range. Remove the blanking plate on the dash and the plug should be there ready to connect the switch to the loom.

thanks,i've allready done that on my 80

any ideas re the 120?

cheers

It must be possible, my LC4 has a switch for centre difflock. so i can be in low with or without.

Did you get anywhere with this toolsplus? Looking to do this myself and not found much info around.

Lc4 and 5 already have a electronic centre diff. Button on the centre console.

I think the 3 is a manual lock when you engage low ?

On the lc3 it comes on automatically when you put the transfer box in HL or LL, there is no switch like on the 4 and 5 so you can't use low without the diff being locked.
