There seems to be some differences concerning how the axle locks will
operate.
Some say that in order to operate them the low ratio need to be engaged.
Others say the axle locks can be engaged regardless of whether the low ratio
is engaged or not.
Some say that to operate the axle locks in high range the CDL must be
engaged firsts.
Some say that to engage the axle locks in high range they must be engaged in
low first and then with out switching them off high can be engaged and they
will remain on.
I would like a poll to see what the consensus is as across the ELCO forum as
across the pond there is a variety of strong opinions of how they are
engaged. I think that I have covered the list of options, what do you
think!

elco guys
ff/rf I need to be stopped... Central diff lock - need to be in neutral
at say maybe 2-5 miles an hour, certainly less than 10 otherwise
everything is locked big time, and nothing at all happens, except from a
complaining (very noisy) gearbox. But this is for an Auto gearbox
afterall.

I have just been playing with my diff locks again:
The front and rear diff locks will only engage with the centre diff
lock locked.
With the CDL switch and Pin 7 mod, I can lock the centre diff in high
range and thus can lock everything in high range.
Without the pin 7 mod you can obviously twiddle the switch for the
front and rear, but they will just site there and blink at you!
P.S. Anthony - good stuff on adding the (chat) bit, but best to use
square brackets and also to add some sort of subject line!
