Hi guys

I am a new member and would like some help. As a member of your brother fraternity (LCCSA in South Africa) I was hoping you could help me find someone...
I am an off-road journalist for Drive Out-magazine in South Africa, and would like to contact this guy for a possible article in the magazine.
I received it via e-mail, and as it goes, nobody up the e-mail chain knows anything.

The story is such:
It is a guy in a beige 105 GX Cruiser (possibly converted into a truck - now carrying a canvas canopy). He crossed the Ruvuma River between Tanzania and Mozambique on a barge made of log-boats lashed together. The only information I have is his reg and some pics.

It is a T-reg from the UK (I assume). T 607 ADR.

So if anybody know who he is or where I can find him, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Gerrie

Hi Gerrie,

That's not a "UK" T registration.
Also 105 was never a seller in UK.

With it being RHD, it is probably one of the old African colonies / or sub colonies.
My first thoughts would be Australian reg, but it doesn't fit the profile of digits / letters etc.

Here are the RHD vehicles ie: LHS driving

You're breaking my heart here...

Botswana plates starts with a B... And Tanzania plates start with a T - like these... so obviously it is a Tanzania-vehicle... and that means the chances of me finding the guy are slim to none...

Thanks anyway!

Yes, it looks like a Tanzania format.

Can just make out the Tanzania flag on the number plate in your second image.
