Hi had a look at my old fj45 engine take the cylinder head off I have created in the cylinder head it's the 3 one with a created cylinder head

Just a guess Tony but is that down to coolant getting into the cylinders? Doesn’t look nice along with the pistons, whatever has caused it.
 
Hi Andy yes I have got a spare cylinder head hi starcruiser yes it is coolant getting in the cylinders wot is the white stuff on top of the pistons do you or Andy now wot it is thanks a lot Tony..:violin:
 
I can only guess it’s burned up residue from the additives in the coolant. Aluminium oxide is white but again that’s a guess.
