Morning all
Just taken delivery of a nice new portable compressor... Thanks Matt. I will
'phone, just been a bit busy.
Anyone fitted a dimmer/rheostat for the dash light? Would love to be able to
dim things a bit when driving at night and presumably it isn't too hard to
do...
Also anyone fitted an external temperature gauge. On previous, more modern
motors I've had, it has had it's uses, and the ones fitted to Subarus seemed
to be accurate.
I'm also having problems with the alarm I was forced to have fitted by my
insurers but that will simply have to be dealt with by those that fitted
it.... Extreme frost seems to set it off and I'm sick of ambling outside
half asleep and half dressed to switch it off. Even managed to scare a fox
this morning so that tells you how rough I looked.
Thanks
Jeremy
Ps your new venture sounds good Julian. Best of luck, who knows, I may be
down...

Mine already has a dimmer switch, I wouldn't have thought you need to
buy a new one?

Hi Jeremy
I thought that they all had dimmer switches on them, mine does.

John and Renate.
Thanks for the replies. Mine is a =8C93 Japanese import but don=B9t know if that
makes any difference. If I=B9m being stupid, please enlighten and maybe tell
me where the switch is...please!?
Thanks
Jeremy
PS Great Irish win yesterday. I=B9m not much of a rugby fan but maybe Wales
Ireland will be an exciting decider?

Hi Jeremy,
Is it down to the right of the steering wheel near the dial for moving the
lights up and down?
Alternatively it could be just above the centre console at the bottom of
the dash.
[My LC isn't here at the moment so can't go out and check]
Thanks, I'm going to slowly build it up and see how it goes.

Re: [ELCO] Dashboard lightMine is to the left of the sterring wheel down a little and is a round knob that you turn.

Thanks for the dashboard dimmer replies. Will check this evening but cannot
remember having one and enjoying the dimmer light. Cannot believe that a
Japanese originated vehicle would be without...
