Good Day Club Members,

I watched a couple of videos on YouTube recently on how to change the diesel fuel filter on the 200 series in an attempt to do it my self. So I went and bought the correct fuel filter by part number to install it. However, One of the points they mentioned in the videos was when you install the new fuel filter is to make sure it “clicks in place”. I tried to install it in many ways but I couldn't get it to click in place. It is however, seated properly but I couldn't hear that click they're saying or at least feel it. Am I doing this the wrong way or is it different from one car and another?

Thanks

Is it the one where you remove 3 screws to get the top off the bowl if it is the element just drops in

Thanks David, yes it’s the one with the 3 screws on top.
Appreciate your reply. Its good to know that I am not messing anything up.

Best Regards,

My 2011 Troopy uses the same 200 filter
