Diesel/petrol interchangeable parts

Hope everyone is doing well and the trucks are doing even better.

I’m sure there is a similar thread somewhere and I would greatful if you could point me in the right direction.

However my question is - would the gearbox and diffs be interchangeable from a 1995 petrol 80 series to my 1992 diesel?

Yes the swap would be fine.
lots have done the break swap.

I swapped the front brakes on mine which was a bolt on bolt off. You need discs, calipers and backing plates
