(diff breathers and steering)

Hi Guys
What a really nice summers day it is here O just saw a duck floating by on
the road. Anyway I would just like to know if and when I am extending the
diff breathers would I put a new hose from the axle point all the way to
where I| want and then attach the original flap, or would I attach a new
hose to the original hose from where it ends at the moment.
Just noticed yesterday that my steering wheel has movement in it, that
should not be there. I know it moves around and up and down when you engage
the tilt switch, just thought I would get that in before you smart lot do.
But this is different, it kind of can move up a little and will shake when
going over a big bump. Its like there is a nut loose or something but before
I go taking everything apart and having bits left over what could it be. It
just another anoying thing to fix I hope and not serious.
I brought the cruiser to get it tracked because of what I thought was one of
the front wheels a little out of line and this was bugging me. The guy
looked at the front and asked me what did I think was wrong, I told him and
he looked. Then he asked me to look and the wheels were perfectly in line,
so must be my driveway or I need lazer eye treatment, or could it be that
the cruiseritis is more progressed than what I thought. Thanks as always

John,
It could be play in the steering column bracket. But you won'ty find
out till you take the shroud apart (by undoing three or four screws
at the bottom then prising the top and bottom sections open).

Hi John
I also thought that there was a tracking issue with the cruiser only to find
out that the tire pressure in each front tire was different. Once I had
checked and ensured that both were the same the prob disappeared.
No idea about bull bars but if you think about how much the cruiser weighs I
think 20kgs can be no issue.

John,
It's more likely play in the bracket fitting rather than steering
gear. When you get to it you'll know - it's not "what" but "how".
