Difficult to always tell with oil because it tracks and you can't see the source. Leaks from the actual diff are most likely the half (output) shaft seals. It's pretty unlikely that it's the clamshell seal itself. But you might also have a blocked breather which means as it warms up, it pushes the oil out past a perfectly good seal. You could also have a crack in the casing (unlikely but possible) or I suppose it could be oil that leaked from somewhere on the engine onto the diff.
Put this stuff in my front diff when i found a leak the day before driving to Romania as a sort of last minute hope for the best 3 or 4 years ago . I topped up diff oil in Romania and i have never thought about it since because it doesn't leak .
It looks like its coming from the passenger side of the diff where it joins the drive shaft (if thats what it is)
I changed what im guessing is the breather today? This black hose with the metal push fit breather(excuse the poor photo haha)? I fitted a new pipe right up to bonnet level and i could suck an blow through the breather fine
