So next i went at the passenger side sill. The reason i did this is because by working from the back and then the front i reckoned the measuring was going to be easier, because there was so much metal missing in the middle. also i reckoned it would be easier to seal up that way, but regardless, i was extremely happy with how it was taking shape.
Next i had to mould the sill into the B pillar. This turned out to be a bit of a complex task as there are actually a lot of different curves and angles all meeting together. However, even though it was a bit of a challenge, it was one of the more enjoyable pieces to fabricate.
Just a reminder of how the joint for the sill to B pillar is suppose to look
So as ye can see, i blocked up the rear of the new sill and then made the patch that joins the front of the arch to the sill itself. That was a challenge and TBH i didnt like making that patch. Its grand getting the curcvature of the patch right and mating it up to the arch aswell, but its the outer shape is the challange as this has to mirror the shape and curvature of the outer skin. Ill put it down to getting tired of that area but i just found that small piece a challenge. Next i just filled in the remaining patches
