|Do any of you know a source of dual beam spotlights, giving high and
|low beam?
|
|Been trying with google but can't find anything sensible.
Anything that takes an H4 bulb (sometimes referred to as P43T) will
provide both main and dipped beams.
You can get standalone headlights from "classic" suppliers, for example
http://www.norbsa02.freeuk.com/goffylighting.htm (scroll down to the 7"
H4 unit). But they may be a bit retro for your taste!
Another alternative would be to buy a cheap 7" set of driving lights and
to replace the light bit with a standard 7" H4 headlight reflector unit,
but you would have to do something creative round the back to waterproof
the back of the bulb, as most cheap driving lights are shallower than
the typical H4 unit.
I also came across this
http://www.amazon.com/Optilux-Hella-H71010321-Model-Driving/dp/B0002MA3O
O which is not main/dip, but rather "driving + fog" in one package.
Hope this helps
