If there are they will be shot by now. Is there a rotational switch
in the cab for a locker? If you have LSD's they have a label on that
says 'lsd oil'.
Regards, Clive.

Hi,
I believe its just LSD in the back. The front diff is just an open diff
from what i understand.
Although someone did mention to me a while back that not all LJ70=92s came
with an LSD in the back.

Regards

Martin.

My wife's 70 series has a proper toy locker in the back axle. As I
have said, toy. LSD's are only good for about 40,000 miles.
Regards, Clive.

Hi Clive,
Is there a way to test the LSD functionality?
Martin.

I've never had to do it but knowing the way they work it should be
possible. An LSD limits the slip in the diff, it does not eliminate
it, so if you jack up one wheel and block it so it is just off the
ground that wheel should spin when you try to move. If the LSD is
working it should stop spinning and put some drive to the other wheel,
this is why the first wheel is just off the ground, if it drives off
and surprises you it will do no harm.
Regards, Clive.
