Beyond my knowledge on a diesel, if it was a petrol I would be installing a
copper spacer (thick copper head gasket) to bring the compression back to
normal.
How did you correct the over skimmed head?
Oh and where are you?

can any body help pls ive just put new rings head gasget new head 2 valves
after i gave it to someone else to do it and he over skimed the head and the
valvs wer touching the pistons. so after stiping it all back down and
rebiulding it its smokinking a lot and wot seems like a slite miss. ther is
also a lot of oil in the air in take witch seems to be comeing out from the
turbo in to the intake please any help please ive spent to much money on her
to lat it go 2 garage just say change the engine but im sure it can be
sorted many thanks
