I have a 2004 HZJ105 standard, no central locking, or any fancy stuff of course. One thing I would like is to upgrade to electric side mirrors. I do a lot of night driving and it is great to be able to flip a switch and get those glaring headlights just out of the side mirrors. You can still tell when cars are behind you but your eyes aren't affected as much. Any way, it seems like this would not be too difficult? Has anyone done this before? I assume the GLX etc has these features but I haven't really looked into that. I know after market electric mirrors are available, so it would just be a matter of installing a switch and some wiring? Has anyone done this or got any idea if it is doable?
