electric windows

Most of the 70's and 80's (and now 105's) that I drive are the basic
military spec (like my old 80) and always have manual windows. I have never
noticed any difference in winding them up and down in a Balkan winter or
Mediterranean/African summer. Surely they have the same lifting mechanism
and channels. So the difference in torque required between cold and warm
must be minimal. You would think that Toyo would be able to overcome that
minor difference. But I think I will stick with the manual version thanks.
Did anyone see the neat 70 series pick-up with semi trailer transporting a
rhino on TV last night ? That was a good payload for a 1HZ !
