Manual or auto CG? With VC or without

There are quite a few different prop lengths across the range

Right you are chris.

10/1994-01/1998 HDJ80RGNMEWW. RHD manual. Without VCD

Dang. Mine started life without a VCD but grew one later. That rear prop would be just too long.

available in any size you want sir..

is the installation and results of the VC addition in your build thread? sounds interesting.

Errm might be
I just swapped the transfer box whole
The GS is different wrt the rear extension housing
I wanted a cruiser with full set of balls and having no CVC didn't feel right
But I had to swap prop too of course

I'm just wondering why the specific reference to RHD, 'cos as far as I can see, there's no difference between the transmission set ups R to LHD, propshaft-wise.

My LHD has the front diff offset on the same side as RHD's and the wheelbase is the same...

I must be missing something...

I think on LHD models the prop rotates the other way? Something to do with the equator.

Erm... maybe ... Mine's never been that far south, so I wouldn't know...

Nice to get a well researched response though

Its part of the region description on the parts search. Not actually specific to the prop selection.
