Do you have any front calipers for a 60 please ?

Hey Ben, if you want to improve the braking on your 60, you can upgrade your front calipers to the newer more modern ones that are fitted to the 90 series, hilux surf, mk4,mk5 hilux, kzj 70 71 77 78 and the import lj71 78 etc.
The pads have a larger surface area and will fit perfect with the 60 series vented discs. Well worth doing!

Both types on the 80 series front calipers will not fit as the mountings have different spacings, Even though they look the same! The internals are the same as the models listed above!

Great info Iwan,
The pads are getting near to needing a change but would rather upgrade at the same time. Will be much more confident of the replacement parts now. Thanks for taking the time to explain the options.
Cheers ben

Has anyone got any feedback on the milners calipers which seem very cheap?
Thanks ben

For a caliper to fail catastrophically would put the supplier in a BIG legal mess is how i look at it Ben , my steering rack is from Roughtrax and no complaints a few year down the line despite my oversized tyres and willful attempts to break things .

I'm inclined to think 80 calipers also fit the 90 series but i can't be sure , was it Andycruiserlomas that did the swap ?

Ah, i didnt think about roughtrax as they dont seem to stock 60 parts but they should have the calipers, pads and pin/spring kit etc.

I've got the bigger ( Hilux) calipers on a 60 and they give you more braking force for less effort as Iwan says. Well worth looking into.

Fronts sold.

still have a set of rear calipers.
