Fwd Digest help please? - REPOST

I sent this a week ago unfortunately without response, perhaps it was
because it was a week-end. There again, maybe I am the only lister
who cherishes archiving the digests ;o)

Sorry about that, I did read it but don't get the digest. It has probably
fallen into that category where everyone thought someone else had done it.
Just a thought, but since I came off digest mode I have found the threads a
lot easier to follow. I understand if you don't want to clog up your
account with multiple emails, neither did I, but if you open up another
account, just another name at the same domain, it keeps things separate.
Like I say, just a thought.

Hi Mark,
One of the recommended options for list emails is to get something like a
GMail account, with around 2Gb of storage and some reasonable search tools
makes it easy to build up a good archive of messages.
If anyone here want's a GMail account for managing their list messages let me
know.

Thanks Mark, sorry for the delayed response but continuing problems
with my server have delayed things. In the week Julian sent me all
the digests that were missing - thanks again Julian.
As for the digest, you will see I use a very specific address for my
toy correspondence on my own domain, I also have another address for
my Pajero, and even one for my boat affairs. So the mechanics of the
thing are sorted and my account is not clogged-up. Since Julian
started the list I have always received the digest which I find very
convenient and much faster - ditto also for the lcool mails. My
problem is not receiving digests or any other mails whatsoever in my
software, this current problem has been a combination of faults with
T-mobile and my hosting server in Oz. Single mails may be an easier
option but when in UK I don't have the luxury of a
landline broadband connection, and when overseas I am lucky to get a
constant signal on a landline at all (what broadband?). But if
anyone can recommend a cheap way of transferring my domain to a UK
hosting company I will be very interested.
That's it, end of technical stuff. LC content, the wonderful orange
wheel cleaner was 59p at Aldi this week !
Cheers
