I looked out over our garden this morning and the grass was so long that the wildebeest on the south lawn couldn't see the edge of the haha and were falling in and being trampled by the peacocks. :icon-wink:
And there's been little rain so the level on the boating lake has gone down alarmingly and the swans are stranded.

Chas, is the South lawn close to where we withdrew for afternoon high-tea on my first visit?

It was a couple of years ago, and IIRC the grounds appeared to be very well-kempt then.

It's a shame to think they've fallen to neglect...

She doesn't take her early retirement until August, she wants to finish this ROH season, she doesn't know what she's in for.
