Good scan tool EOBD

Could a member recommend an above entry level EOBD scan tool for the 4.2 diesel in a 2001 100 AMAZON have looked at Seally but only do from 2004 and looked at ebay gum ( if you live in t north ) and the 100s namesake and got strange names and various options from 15 quids upto the 400 mark then gave up so can you help please

What you need is M-OBD, that's Toyoda's own take on early OBD. If you want to read all the codes, the most reliable is TechStream on an old laptop, via a miniVCI, which is fairly cheap.

As uhu said techstream is your best bet. You can run it on windows 10 but it was an absolute fucker to get working.
