Last friday, I handed over the keys of 'the White', my HZJ75 troopy to the new owners. A young Dutch couple who are going on a year long trip to Asia.
Some pictures, just to remember :

Sorry to hear that Wout.
Do you still have a cruiser? Going to get one?
Are the new owners going to join up on here?

Pic * 2 is a calendar shot for sure. No question. I'm thinking July maybe?

Ooooh, sadness. :icon-cry:

Trusting a suitable replacement Wout, you’re going to be lost with that one gone...

hi guys, thanks for the kind responses.
having 3 cruisers is a very nice feeling, but keeping 3 cruisers in good shape takes a lot of time and effort + one can only drive one cruiser at a time. so the white one had years with only 300 kms of road under the wheels, which I think is sad for a great truck like that.
and my wife likes the 80 better.....:)
the BJ46 stays in the ardennes as working/play truck.

Good solid reasons there Wout. I'm with you, good to see it getting good use.

Hope the new owners join up here and post their trip.

The Ardennes is a great area. :)

Glad to see you getting pleasure from someone else using “your” truck.

The sign of a true enthusiast and gent...

update : after trekking through India and the Himalaya, they are on their way to the Karakorum Highway

btw my homemade rear bumper still looks good after 11 months on the road

Do the new owners have a blog/ instagram account/ any other contact details. We're hoping to do this route after the Pan America but wife is not convinced about taking young children through the area so i'm trying to convince her it's safe with stories of other folk doing the same route.

Lovely looking truck by the way. Glad it went to an adventurous home.
