It was, but if I recall correctly, there was a motorbike called an Amazon so they had to drop that name officially. I bought my 2 door, 2 litre when it was 28 years old, and put 100,000 miles on it in 5 years. I had to have the gearbox out a few times when it locked in 3rd gear, but I could get home from work, have the box out and stripped enough to sort of fix it and back in ready for work in the morning. Until I got a new selector fork for it; new, from Volvo, before Ford bought them and killed off the old spares. When I bought the farm it was killing it to get up and down the track and it had to go. By far the coolest car I've owned.

All mine are I storage except the one for my 60 but from memory I’ve got them for a 1275 midget, Morris minor, Mark 1 mr2, ford escort,

Hi my dad had a 121 Volvo estate car wen he stoped driving it a nd it had 650,000 on it wot a car.

I picked up a Haynes manual for a Bedford ice cream van, At my local car boot... Theres a guy selling loads of em for about a £1 each. such a shame, They are lovely books for some really Classic motors.... Cant believe there not worth more.... Saying that i was bidding on one this week for an 80 series it went for £35 with postage....
