Hi Kirk,
The best solution is to clean the rubber window surrounds thoroughly to
remove all the dirt and then lubricate with a silicone/ptfe based
spray.
They are best pulled out completely - lower the window and prise them
out from the top initially.
The next option if you are up to it is to strip the main switch in the
drivers door and clean off the contacts - these can get gummed up
reducing the power going to the windows.
If you are still having problems after that then you may need to
consider replacing the motors.

We in France also replace these rubber window surrounds with renewed
from the Toyota pieces sales. I take mine out and they are stiff not
flexible like new ones.

Yes, replacing the window rubbers is a better option, however at around =A350 GBP each in the UK they are a little bit expensive.
You can rejuvinate the rubber with products like Armoral, but it takes time.
