Hi all,

I'm Rich, I don't current have a cruiser, looking to pick one up. Probably a 120 as that suits budget and desire for creature comforts. ;)
Mostly intending it as a holiday / overland vehicle, with some light dragging timber / building materials around duties. I have a car for commuting and other around town duties.

Currently wading through autotrader trying to find good examples, if anyone has any tips on better places to look, I'm all ears.

I would keep looking.

With this specific vehicle you would need a thorough examination to check what the present situation is, and then have enough confidence that the work done in the past was up to the right spec and components used were the right grade etc.

There are a lot of 120s still around.

Welcome Rich, patience and persistence is the key. I found an LC4 that was decent at the 10th attempt. I viewed 2 the other day for a guy from Scotland ( 120's) and wouldn't have given 1/3 of the asking price. Be prepared to walk away time after time and most importantly, don't buy work.
