Greetings from South Africa. Been a member since I bought my 80 but yet to introduce myself, so here goes:

Your name: Brett Meyer
Your Cruiser: 1996 80 VX Manual 1HD-FT with 194,000ish miles.
Mods on your Cruiser: Iron Man suspension, ugly (but strong) bull bar
Plans for your Cruiser: Trying to get as stock as possible, will either spray or replace the bull bar - then kit for overlanding when the time arrives
4x4 Experience: Few small trips around Southern Africa, some bigger ones planned once the kids are old enough.
Anything else you think is interesting or relevant:

Was the owner of a beautiful HJ60 (UK spec) before it was stolen earlier this year. The thought of restoring another 60 and dealing with the rust next to the Indian Ocean didn't appeal to me anymore so I found a great spec 80VX that needed some work but picked up for a steal. As far as a comparison goes, I still think the 60 is a better looking cruiser - but damn this 80 is comfortable and goes like a dream!

Great intro and welcome Brett. Lovely pair of Cruisers, there is something about white 60's that look as good as that one I like.
Your 80 colour scheme is the same as the first 80 I bought.
