Help needed - Mysterious part

Hello 40 series fans; after a long chase I finally bought a Land Cruiser BJ42 and am trying to figure out how much rust is under the bodywork. Came halfway down the left side member I found this barrel: two tubes on the left side and a sensor on the right side; on the bottom there is a purge. The barrel has pitting on one side and inside is blighted.

Can anyone tell me what is it? I can not find on spare parts sellers diagrams and I'm not even sure whether it is necessary to keep it, because the Cruiser works fine despite the keg is empty, dry and with a damaged sensor.

OK got it: vacuum reservoir, part code 44704-60020. Sensor 83390-60010.

I know, I know, I should have waited before writing, but hands are faster than brain. I just posted when I tried to follow the path of the tubes that initially seemed invisible. Then I checked the function of the sensor on the wiring diagram and thus has clarified everything.
