Help with an Dashboard warning light

I need some help with a dashboard light that has come on in my 1996 80 series cruiser.
It came on while accelarating up a long steep hill. Once I turned the vehicle off and tarted it again - the light went out - but I would like to know what the light is indicating.
Any help would be appreciated
It was the light on the Rev counter as per below

Its the turbo over boost light. Are you running a bit more fuel/boost? Mine comes on now and then if im towing up a long drag. Its set at about 15 psi iirc. I run 15 psi with the stock turbo which is regarded as about the max you would want to run with the ct 26.
I wouldn't worry about it personally.

My turbo boost light has stayed on recently too Mark but without turning off. The vehicle runs ok no issues. I adiqated it to maybe to this sensor that I’m replacing but can’t be sure till then.

Check all your connections with turbo and fuel pump and see if you notice anything?

OK great thanks for the replies. I have recently had the car serviced and they said they did increase the boost.
I will take a look at the wiring over the weekend.
