Hi all can sum one help my friend has a 90 SWB it has a problem with the immobile problem wen you lock it and wen you come back to it the battery is flat wot is the cause of it how can wee fix it thanks for all the help:thumbup::thumbup:

Have the batteries checked at a battery supplier after giving them a good charge. Check the charging voltage from the alternator with the engine running and if it still seems to drain batteries, disconnect anything aftermarket and see what happens. Trailer light booster relays (beepers) can get water in and cause problems like this. Check for wiring damage and any water coming in. You could also try disconnecting the batteries overnight and test their voltage then and in the morning. They should drop overnight a little if they’ve been charging in the vehicle.

Simple things first pull the terminal connections and clean them , put a multimeter on them before and after the engine is started then run it for half hour to make sure the lost charge from starting is replaced by the alternator .

Tow sockets and rear bumper lights are always the first thing to look at when a 90 suffers electrical gremlins .

Charging voltage should be 14.4v at the battery with the engine running.
