I am new to this forum so thought I would introduce myself
I do have a question though.
Under the drivers seat on my 1986 HJ61 Sahara there is a push down switch, which looks a bit like an ignition switch, which once pushed down it needs a key to turn slightly to raise it back up.
I have included a photo of it. It is a genuine Toyota key which operates it.
Thanks in advance for any replies

Does it go anywhere.... If you look under the Truck etc, Any wires.... Cracking looking Truck

Thanks mate, no wires but I'm thinking it might be a fuel cut out. I must track the pipe going out towards the engine and see where it goes.

If its a pipe one would think Fuel cut off,,,,, Have you got Duel Tanks etc etc

No dual tanks, I will follow it through tomorrow.
Thanks for your reply

Not sure what that keyhole is, but that’s a super nice cruiser.
