Hello There,

I recently obtained a 1996 JDM Land Cruiser Prado, KZJ95-GKMST. It's in really nice shape for a 25 YO car. I'm looking to use if for winter driving and as the family truckster (when needed--I live alone but have a Daughter and some friends), maybe some overlanding eventually.

I live near Cleveland Ohio, USA and so am feeling pretty lonely as a Prado owner. There's a lot of Lexus GX around here but the earliest examples are from 2003. The local Toyota dealer has agreed to take a look at it but I don't expect they know that they can't put the Japanese VIN into their system so I'm, first, looking for a good place to get the car serviced and repaired.

The American early 4Runners share a lot of commonality with your Prado and a google search for KZJ95 will find just about anything you might need . Rust protection should be a priority because everything else will last for years yet if cared for

Oh and Toyota main dealers are renowned on here for their ridiculously high prices .
