Hi all. I’ve decided to register. The tech info on here is great - Thankyou.
I’m on my second 79 series. I don’t do much four wheel driving (tracks, beach etc - one day) as such, but do tow trailer and get around on farms. Such a magnificent car.
I do basic servicing such as oil and filters but leave the other stuff like repacking bearings and draining brake fluid etc to mechanic.
One thing I want to check is where are all the places to apply grease. I see the drive / tail shafts and the Universals on these plus a couple on steering arms.
But to be thorough I have been trying to find a workshop manual so I can look it up.
Any help on where to get a decent manual and / or info on grease points appreciated.
