Hj60 Top Speed

I don't think my 1982 HJ60 4 speed box is giving me all it's got anyone know how fast it should go? will they do more than 110k?

How did you measure the 110kmh?
On 31” tyres my speedo is 5% low, verfied by a police officer! Axle gearing ratio also needs consideration. A 5 speed box will achieve 130kmh between hills

This was one of the best 60's I owned, turbo charged and intercooled 2H, it would rock on mile after mile at 85 mph, never slow on any hill. The difference between this and N/A was night and day. Rust got the better of it and I broke it before it had even got to 88K miles but there were relatively quite a few about back then. I guess it would be considered a straight forward restoration these days.
The engine/ turbo setup will be gracing a forum members 60 any time soon.

Andy this week hopefully engine in and now running after a couple of teething issues just waiting for the new intercooler and I’ll check the 85 mph lol
