Two pack epoxy, it does not experience high pressure, just needs to be air tight.

Drill, thread and screw in a hose tail of the appropriate size as long as it fits in the space.

Yep, just be sure that the inside hole of the tube at the fitting doesn't get blocked with epoxy, a small tube insert or as Rich says below, will stop that.
