Hydraulic winch pump

Hi,
Does anyone have experience of fitting a dedicated hydraulic winch pump on a
24v 80 fitted with air con? I want to avoid using the power steering pump
for the well known speed issues, but can not see where I can fit a belt
driven pump. I have considered the PTO option but think it will be too
expensive.
Thanks

Ian,
When you say 24v I assume you mean the 1HDFT engine.
I've got a ZF pump fitted on the D/S of the engine block but I have no
air conditioning. Having said that, there was just enough space there
for me to sequeeze in a York air compressor. I think it is possible
to have the pump and keep the A/C compressorsor.

Hi Ian,
Occasionally people relocate the power steering pump reservoir and then
fabricate a bracket to mount on board air, etc there - I guess you
should be able to fit a small hydraulic pump there.

Thanks for the replies to my pump mount question. I think the way I will go
is to relocate the power steering reservoir as Julian suggested.
