I'm pretty sure I wasn't going 180 kmh in 4th gear with my standard 1HZ.

Anyone seen a HZJ75 speedo show about three times the speed that it should? Any ideas about if it is an easy fix?

The odometer numbers seem to be running about right.

I'm a bit of a fan of dash clips!

This one has just turned up 234567 miles and had to push the 1kz t (e) over the speed limit to take the snap!

Ignore the orange turbo light it's fine, you've got a bit more fuel than me, we're at about the same battery charge, oil pressure isn't connected yet but you're temp is running a bit higher! This one has enough rpm left to go to equal your speed but the steering shakes too much to match yours lol!

Joking aside it's the speedo clock thats at fault and it's very possible to just swap it instead of the whole unit but some care is needed to remove the red arm intact.

So a couple options to repair it for you... new unit or just change the speed indicator.

Hope the info is of use!
