Am i right in saying that the 03 has a 5 speed auto box where the 02 has a 4 speed auto box?

There are some 03 vehicles still with the 4 speed box, not sure what the change over date is for that, but an 02 will be 4 speed.

Is there a big difference between the two? I mean one that i will notice eg gear ratios, fuel consumption or motor way cruising or is it in the low gear crawling that it makes a difference?

I've never owned or driven a 5 speed but it sounds like the extra gearing is quite a noticeable improvement.

Used the search function and found some great info...looks like my budget has just gone out the window and its a 5 speed box post Aug 2002 i am looking for.
