Idle speed in hot weather

I've noticed this too, it drops to a point where it might stall but
doesn't actually, I rev up hard when stopped and this usually sorts it.
I've never had to use the choke or have the engine tweaked, apart from
when I return to North Africa and then it is tweaked to a much higher
rev anyway as I need this for hard dune driving at max revs in full heat
of 40-45 degrees plus.
I wouldn't worry too much about this to be honest, mine does it every
time we have a couple of days of hotter weather.

over the shop and I though at one point it was going to stall. Will
tweak
the idle speed screw and see if she is happier.

Hi Renate
Hmmm, high speed dune driving in North Africa? What were you doing? The
Paris Dakkar race????
Glad to hear that I am not the only one with a flagging idle in this heat.
And you are right a quick blip of the throttle sorts her out and shows her
who's the Daddy.
