Howdy to all LC owners

Been a while since my last post been working hard and doing jobs on Our HJ60 just a qick question...hope some one can
help my wife and i on this issue....on a hj60 once you turn the ignition on some lights come on for glow plugs etc battery
then these will turn off after the engine is running.

In the case off glow plugs to warm diesel in barrel has anyone got a glue exactly what procedure to follow dont start until
lights come off similar to conventional diesel cars etc.....I have the toyota manuals but these are in our storage facility in
a crate at the bottom of a massive pile of parts.....I now i shall get them this weekend

Any info will be greatly appreciated

Regards

I believe the light going out indicates that the plugs are good to go.

Hi Daniel & Louise,
Start when the lights go out but it wont make any difference if it's before. My HJ60 engine (in my 40) doesn't have the glow plugs connected and just uses the compession of fuel - ok it's a bit smoky for a few minutes after starting as it clears the excess fuel.
Regards,
Rodger
