Hello, I'm back on the mailing list. My name is Roger Cox and I own a 1983 BJ 40, which resides in Cyprus, and a 1990 LJ70 which resides in Buckinghamshire. Can anyone help with a sump for the LJ70? It is a UK vehicle with a 2.4 2LT diesel engine.

Hi Roger,
Welcome back. How are things?
What's up with the one you have?
I suspect that you will struggle to get a replacement (new or second
hand) in the UK, unless the engine is common to something else like a
Hilux.
As a result you may find the cheapest option is to get a local
fabricator to fix your existing one.

Try Dalcrue Autosalvage www.dalcruealtosalvage.co.uk I have got a few parts from them. They always seem to have LJ70 parts and a good on service and price.
