Don't hold your breath expecting that new switches in the window
master switch will save all the problems.
It's just poor design - the motors are too weak for the friction
created in poorely designed guides and the switches are not spark
protected so each time they carry a 15A load, contacts burn out slowly
and oxidise, which leads to even more resistance and more burnout.

The immobiliser is just a switch in the current parth - no more no
less. All that matters is where you put it and how it is closed when
required. It can always be bypassed with a piece of wire, if someone
has the time and resolve to do it.

Im getting more adventurious so is there a filter on or in the auto box and
if so where i have looked in the manual and can't find it any where, old age
