Immobiliser

Hi I recently had my mechanic look at my son 1997 80 series as it would not start. He advised its the immobiliser. He said best to take it out or by pass it. Has anyone had a similar problem and how did you fix it? thanks.

Hi, first before touch the inmobilizer try to check your key’s chip. If this fall down sometime the chip broke inside.
