Which is my thoughts exactly
The motor looks v good inside and out
Ive attached pictures of it, taken with my spv 500 phone.
The spots look colour coded too or is that a coincidence.
Also spotted the din blanking plate is screwed on so I guess this isnt a
toyota fitting but a diy job
My plan is to fit the stereo in the first gap and the cb in the 2nd.
Also
A 15" tft on ebuyer is 110 quid
A 7" touchscreen is a lot more...
Nuff said, just need to know where to mount the screen now
Thing is this may be empty talk as it may be sold by Saturday morning
If not its haggle time

I've bought and sold a few sets of wheels on ebay, sold a set today in fact,
so that's always a good bet if you keep an eye on it. Maybe the person who
bought mine will be selling a set.
The spare mount may be salvageable with lots of cleaning, greasing and
patience. If not you can have the one that used to be on my 94 IF I haven't
thrown it away which I don't think I have. Keeping the spare in the boot
robs you of a lot of space and with a 2 inch lift and bigger tyres it
doesn't really get in the way slung under the back.
Drums on the rear is not ideal, they struggle to work after being dipped in
mud a few times but getting at them to clean them out is easy so not the end
of the world. For your budget a nice condition older motor like that may be
a better bet than a well worn newer one.
Best Regards,
Jon.

Dyfed,
The price seems to be OK, but the drum brakes are not a bonus. I'm not sure
how much it would cost to have them converted to disks. Also, I'm a bit
concerned by the rusting chassis.
Manual or auto? Has it got axle lockers?
Alloys /steel rims can be bought/ exchanged. (ca 200 - 250). The spare tyre
winch under the chassis is know to break down if not regularly maintained.
Any clonks in the drivetrain, smoky engine?
