injector cleaner

When I ran veg oil I put injector cleaner in the diesel tank every month and
ran it through 20 litres on a longer journey. Now I am back on diesel so I
run one normal tank full with additive every 3 or 4 months. Her emissions
were very good at mot.

Hi Claire,
Interesting - Veg oil/biodiesel are pretty good injector cleaners themselves.
I would be inclined to be putting in more cleaner now you are back on normal
diesel.

Thanks Julian, the way diesel price is going I might be back on the veg oil
anyway....I never tried adding cleaner to the veg oil itself so it had to be
run on diesel for the cleaning cycle but I had heard of people having
blocked injectors on oil.
